The BIG FIX Uganda's dog hospital in Pageya remains open 7 days a week to serve all animals in need. We are the only veterinary hospital in the entire Northern Uganda region, and provide animal rescue, rehabilitation, and sheltering services to dogs and cats in need.
We are very grateful to our devoted staff, who have made many sacrifices to keep things running smoothly during this challenging time. We especially acknowledge and appreciate our two resident veterinary doctors, Lead Vet Dr. Josephine Nabakooza, and Staff Vet Dr. Stellah Nambuya, who have not been able to visit their families since the pandemic was declared. Their dedication and sincere compassion for the animals is heroic and we are honored that they are part of our team.
