Our innovative Comfort Dog Project has been scientifically established over the past 8 years to be an effective program to reduce PTSD symptoms.
We pair war trauma survivors with our native Acholi street dogs to heal the impact of trauma and reduce PTSD symptoms.
Comfort Dog Project graduates are life long caretakers of their partner dogs and continue to support other programs:
