BLUEPRINT FOR CANINE RABIES PREVENTION AND CONTROL

GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR RABIES CONTROL

The Global Alliance for Rabies Control gifted Rabies Tracker technology and support to The BIG FIX Uganda, which has greatly impacted the effectiveness of our rabies prevention and response program. GARC has a website with many resources, and they provide free online courses including the Rabies Educator Certificate class, which all staff of The BIG FIX are required to complete upon engagement.

UNITED AGAINST RABIES FORUM

The BIG FIX Uganda is a member of the United Against Rabies Forum (UAR), which is supported by FAO, WOAH and WHO (the Tripartite). The United Against Rabies Forum takes a multi-sectoral, One Health approach bringing together governments, vaccine producers, researchers, NGOs and development partners.
